The boathouse on Rödön is beautifully situated by the shore of Lake Storsjön, approximately 500 meters from St Olavsleden. The view of the Oviksfjällen and Åreskutan is magnificent, providing a environment where you can relax to the soothing sound of the waves and beautiful view.

The boathouse is available for pilgrims that walk the St.Olavsleden.

Inside the boathouse, you will find a double bed (180 cm), which will be made upon your arrival. Amenities such as a microwave, kettle, coffee, and tea are provided. Although there is no running water, drinking water is available in a container in the room, and it is replenished between each visit. Towels and bath slippers are available for those who want to take a dip in the lake.

There is an outhouse located about 50 meters from the boathouse. See pictures. Dogs are welcome inside the boathouse, but we kindly request that you notify us when booking so that we can provide a dog bed and a drinking bowl.
